The invention relates to a suture sleeve, comprising a tubular body of an elastic material which is adapted to be positioned in a human or animal body and is provided with a through bore to allow introducing of a lead or other elongated and flexible body into the bore for implantation of the lead via the suture sleeve. At least a portion (6) of the through bore is formed with a non-circular cross section. The invention also relates to a method for positioning of a suture sleeve (3) and a lead in relation to each other.Linvention porte sur un manchon de suture.
