The present invention relates to a method of preparing a ceramic pellet for water purification comprising zeolite and limestone, and a ceramic pellet for water purification prepared by the method. According to the present invention, zeolite and limestone are pulverized into powder and mixed, distilled water is added to the mixture, which is then agitated and molded into pellets； the molded pellets are passed through a furnace to be heated and calcined at high temperature, and are sintered as moisture and carbon dioxide contained in the zeolite, the limestone and the distilled water are discharged to the outside； and the molded pellets are then passed through a cooling unit to be rapidly cooled and solidified to form ceramic pellets for water purification. According to the present invention, the ceramic pellets for water purification comprising zeolite and limestone, which generates calcium hydroxides, may be introduced into a contaminated water contaminated with suspended materials, nitrogen and phosphorus to effectively remove the nitrogen and the phosphorus contained in the contaminated water, and thereby improve the water quality of the contaminated water and purify the same.본 발명은 제올라이트 및 석회석으로 조성되는 수질정화용 세라믹 펠릿(pellet)의 제조방법 및 그 방법에 의해 제조되는 수질정화용 세라믹 펠릿에 관한 것으로, 더욱 구체적으로는, 제올라이트 및 석회석을 분말로 분쇄하여 혼합하고, 그 혼합물에 정제수를 투입하여 교반하여 펠릿으로 성형한 후, 가열로를 통과하면서 고열로 가열, 소결하면서 제올라이트, 석회석, 정제수에 내포된 수분과 이산화탄소를 외부로 방출시키면서 소결성형시키고, 이어 냉각부를 통과하면서 급랭 경화시켜 수질정화용 세라믹 펠릿을 제조하여, 제올라이트 및 수산화칼슘을 생성하는 석회석을 그 조성물질로 하는 수질정화용 세라믹 펠릿을 부유물질, 질소, 인 등으로 오염된 오염수에 투입하여 오염수 내에 포함된 질소 및 인을 제올라이트로 효과적으로 제거하여 오염수의 수질을 양질의 물로 정화하는 제올라이트 및 석회석으로 조성되는 수질정화용 세라믹 펠릿(pellet)의 제조방법 및 그 방법에 의해 제조되는 수질정화용 세라믹 펠릿에 관한 것이다.
