PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new rope attachment tool capable of easily and surely attaching a cutting auxiliary rope to a tree to be cut. SOLUTION: A rope attachment 1 is supported by an operation rod 10 and overhangs an attached portion 105 (trunk 101, branch 103, or a branch portion thereof) while holding a tip side portion 40a of a felling auxiliary rope 40. When the rope holding arm 20 that allows the tip side portion to get over from one side to the other side of the attached portion when hung, and the tip side portion of the logging auxiliary rope provided on the rope holding arm are removably held and detached. A rope holder 30 for detaching the tip side portion is provided. The rope attachment is such that the tip side part falls to the other side of the attached part by detaching the rope holder while the tip side part of the felling auxiliary rope held by the rope holder gets over the attached part.
