To solve problems that in a straw cutter axially mounting a cutter shaft and a raking rotor shaft in parallel to constitute a cutting part, a straw weight of stock base part is large, drop and discharge to a position just below a stock base is easily carried out, however and diffusion and discharge to an ear tip side area is hardly performed and uniform diffusion and discharge in the traveling width of combine harvester is hardly carried out.
SOLUTION: The cutting and discharging apparatus of straw cutter has a constitution that a guide plate 8 for discharging and guiding cut straws downward to the rear is arranged at the front side of the stock base part of the cutting part 3, the exhaust port 10 of a threshed dust discharging machine 9 is disposed below the guide plate 8, a triangular guide plate 12 formed in an inside downslope is laid in a corner interval part 11 between a rear cover part 4 at the stock base part side and a side cover part 5 at the outside of the rear cover part and cut straws of stock base discharged from the guide plate 8 side are placed ON dust exhausting air that blows out from the exhaust port 10 toward the triangular guide plate 12 to guide the cut straws to the ear tip side and are diffused and discharged to the ear tip side in a diffusion chamber 7.
