PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmological observation device capable of observing a subject eye using illumination light having visible characteristics near to natural light.SOLUTION: An ophthalmological observation device of an embodiment includes an illumination system and an observation system. The illumination system includes a white light source and a color rendering property converting filter. The white light source has a light emitting element. The color rendering property converting filter improves the color rendering property of light output from the white light source. The illumination system illuminates a subject eye with light transmitted through the color rendering property converting filter.
