PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressurization device equipped with a constitution capable of preventing a material to be treated in a pressure container from being flowed through the pressure container by a liquid flow, and from being sucked into the exhaust port when the interior of the pressure container is filled with a liquid pressure medium.SOLUTION: The topmost part of at least one of both axial ends of a horizontally-disposed pressure container 1 is provided with an exhaust port 15a, and a position lower than the exhaust port 15a on both ends of the horizontally-disposed pressure container 1 is provided with a liquid supply port 14a.
