PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance sterilization capability by increasing the corrosion resistance of a treatment chamber and the ultraviolet light intensity in the treatment chamber.SOLUTION: An ultraviolet sterilization device 10 comprises: a treatment chamber 12 to house an object to be sterilized and a light source 40 to irradiate the interior of the treatment chamber 12 with ultraviolet light. The treatment chamber 12 has a wall of a laminate structure 30 that comprises a first layer 31 made of a fluorine-based resin material and a second layer 32 made of a material having an ultraviolet reflecting property, the laminate structure 30 having the first layer 31 disposed to face the interior of the treatment chamber 12.
