<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical hydroponics device solving the following problems of a conventional one: nutrient solution leaks through gaps between a support cylinder and a plant-planting tool fixedly inserted into the supporting cylinder； and the conventional vertical hydroponics device is not suitable for cultivation of root vegetables. <；P>；SOLUTION: The vertical hydroponics device is formed as follows: using an article made by cutting and removing the bottom part from a container typified by a plastic bottle as a plant-planting tool； and making holes each having a female screw for fixing the supporting cylinder at a slant so as to downwardly put the pouring opening of the plant-planting tool. According to such a structure, the plant-planting tool is fixed to the supporting cylinder with the screws so as to prevent the leakage of the nutrient solution and reuse of a long and thin container is reused as the plant-planting tool to enable cultivation of the root vegetables. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
