A unitized cast system 10 for immobilizing and supporting a body part. Theunitized casting system 10 includes afirst inner layer 40 for padding and dissipating heat against the patient sskin. A second layer 30 is formed from a thermoformablestructural material such as perforated plastic. A protective third outer 20layer is provided to provide insulation for the second layer.These three layers are formed together to form a unitized cast system that iseasily formed and applied to the patient.
