PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a resonant scanner favorably.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 includes a fundus imaging optical system 100 for projecting light from a light source 11 onto the fundus of a subject eye and receiving at a light receiving element 56 the fundus reflection light of the projected light, and generates a fundus image on the basis of a light-receiving signal from the light receiving element 56.
