To provide ultrasonic diagnostic equipment having a highly flexible constitution for an operator and a subject and capable of generating highly accurate three-dimensional elastic images.

SOLUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic equipment finds elastic information of tissues of sectional planes of a subject and generates an elastic image based ON ultrasonic tomographic data sequentially measured in a process (1) where pressures applied to the subjects tissue are varied. The subjects sectional planes are sequentially changed to generate volume data (2). This equipment selects elastic images generated in a state where the pressures applied from respective data blocks (3)-(6) of the volume data, namely a plurality of elastic images of the respective sectional planes, to the subjects tissue are equivalent and compose the selected elastic images (7).
