PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization system that can produce heated sterile water and further stably supply the water to a sterilizer in which a heat source of a heat pump when applied is cooling water after an object to be treated is cooled in the sterilizer.SOLUTION: A configuration of the sterilization system includes: the sterilizer 110 for storing the object to be treated 102 and performing heat sterilization and cooling of the object to be treated； a cooling water storage tank (a first cooling water storage tank 120) for storing cooling water used for cooling the object to be treated； a cooling water recovery tank 140 having a heat retention function, which recovers and temporarily stores the cooling water with increased temperature in the sterilizer； the heat pump 150 for producing the heated sterile water used for the heat sterilization of the object to be treated using the cooling water stored in the cooling water recovery tank as the heat source； and a supply amount control means 170 for controlling a supply amount of the cooling water stored in the cooling water recovery tank to the heat pump.【課題】ヒートポンプを適用した場合において、その熱源を殺菌装置における被処理体冷却後の冷却水としながらも、加熱殺菌水の生成ひいてはそれの殺菌装置への供給を安定して行うことが可能な殺菌システムを提供する。【解決手段】本発明にかかる殺菌システムの構成は、被処理体１０２を収容し、被処理体の加熱殺菌および冷却を行う殺菌装置１１０と、被処理体の冷却に用いられる冷却水を貯留する冷却水貯留タンク（第１冷却水貯留タンク１２０）と、保温機能を有し、殺菌装置において昇温した冷却水を回収し一時的に貯留する冷却水回収タンク１４０と、冷却水回収タンクに貯留された冷却水を熱源として、被処理体の加熱殺菌に用いられる加熱殺菌水を生成するヒートポンプ１５０と、冷却水回収タンクに貯留された冷却水のヒートポンプへの供給量を制御する供給量制御手段１７０と、を備えることを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
