PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press method and a press apparatus of a powder cosmetic that can mold the powder cosmetic with a good molded surface.SOLUTION: The press apparatus 1 for the powder cosmetic is equipped with a base 2 for placing a container P thereon for loading the powder cosmetic Q therein, a feed hopper 3 for feeding the powder cosmetic Q into the container P, a first roller 4, located on the base 2, for sliding roll paper M to the position covering the opening of the container P over the opening of the container P, a second roller 5 for sliding a roll cloth N to be laminated on the upper surface of the roll paper M, and a die 6 for pressing the upper surface of the powder cosmetic Q fed into the container P in a state that the roll paper is laminated on the roll cloth N.
