PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical tool for permanently exhibiting excellent surface lubricity during use by firmly immobilizing various polymeric base materials and a surface lubricating layer with a simple method.SOLUTION: The medical tool includes: a base material layer comprising a polymeric material at least on the surface compounds each of which is carried by at least a part of the base material layer and has a plurality of thiol groups in a molecule and surface lubricating layers each of which covers the compound having the plurality of thiol groups in the molecule and comprises hydrophilic polymers with a reactive functional group.
