PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device 2 capable of reducing a burden of a caretaker and also reducing a burden applied to a person in need of care when transferring.SOLUTION: The transfer device 2 includes: lifting/lowering push-up shaft 23 that is formed of a rod-like body extending in the horizontal direction and the left/right end parts of which are inserted in guide holes 223 of lifting/lowering support frame guide covers 22 a pedal 24, the rear end adjacency of which is fixed to the lifting/lowering push-up shaft 23 and the front end of which protrudes forward a base plate a pair of back lifting/lowering support frames 26, the lower ends of which are rotationally connected to the pair of lifting/lowering support frame guide covers 22 respectively, and that extend upward and a body placement part 28, the four corner adjacencies of which are rotationally supported by the upper ends of a pair of front lifting/lowering support frames 25 and the pair of back lifting/lowering support frames 26 respectively and on which the upper half body of the person in need of care is placed.
