PURPOSE: A transdermal formulation containing a novel penetration enhancer is provided to reduce the dosage of the penetration enhancer, and to prevent side effects such as skin irritation.CONSTITUTION: A transdermal formulation contains non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent as an active ingredient. The transdermal formulation contains two or more kinds of ester compounds as a penetration enhancer. The ester compounds include first and second penetration enhancers. The first penetration enhancer is monoester of isopropyl alcohol and C8-20 carboxylic acid. The second penetration enhancer is diester of adipic acid and C2-8 alcohol.
