ABSTRACT Abrasive polishing process focus on producing excellent surface finish on regular flat shapes. Ever increasing demands in freeform features in aerospace, hydraulic industry requires abrasive finishing technology not only provides excellent surface finish but also is capable to correct the errors on freeform surfaces. A metallographic examination can be an essential tool in the examination of cause of product failure. The examination allows the key features of metallic structure to be observed and inferences to be made based upon that structure. Following invention is described in detail with the help of Figure 1 of sheet 1 showing the sequence diagram for the fabrication of double disk polishing, grinding and cutting machine and figure 2 of sheet 2 showing general layout of the invention.
