Pharmaceutical preparations include at least one component that enhancessexualresponse and at least one other compound that enhances sexual sensitivity andpleasure. Thecomponent that enhances sexual response (e.g., PDE5 inhibitor) enhances bloodflow to thegenital region. Examples include compounds that dilate blood vessels, such ascompoundsthat increase the amount of nitric oxide (NO) in the blood. The component thatenhancessexual sensitivity and pleasure includes one or more cannabinoid compoundsfrom the plantgenus Cannabis, including extracted compounds, synthetic forms, andderivatives thereof.Examples include tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the main psychoactive constituentofCannabis, and cannabidiol (CBD), which is less or non-psychoactive andmodulates THCactivity. The ratio of THC/CBD can be selected depending on age, gender,physical health,and/or psychological condition of the user.
