A yogurt-based coating composition is provided for coating frozen foods with an exterior layer. The said composition comprises from about 45％to about 54％ by weight of an oil having a melting point of from about 25℃ to about 35℃, about 29％ to about 38％ by weight of yogurt, about 8％ to about12％ by weight of sugar, about 0.5％ to about l％ by weight of lecithin, and containing at least 10 3 colony forming units（CFU）lactic acid bacteria per gram of the yogurt-based coating composition.L'invention concerne une composition d'enrobage à base de yaourt pour recouvrir des aliments congelés avec une couche extérieure. Ladite composition comprend d'environ 45 % à environ 54 % en poids d'une huile ayant un point de fusion d'environ 25 °C à environ 35 °C, d'environ 29 % à environ 38 % en poids de yaourt, d'environ 8 % à environ 12 % en poids de sucre, d'environ 0,5 % à environ 1 % en poids de lécithine, et contenant des bactéries d'acide lactique d'au moins 10 3 unités de formation de colonie (CFU) par gramme de la composition d'enrobage à base de yaourt.
