PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic apparatus capable of arbitrarily changing a color tone of illumination light according to an observation target and a diagnostic scene.SOLUTION: An endoscopic apparatus 100 comprises illumination means for emitting illumination light from an endoscope distal end 35, and image pickup means which has an image pickup device 21 for capturing an image of an observation target area of a subject irradiated with the illumination light.
