PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment suitable for diagnosing prostate.SOLUTION: A tomographic image formation unit 20 forms a tomographic image of ultrasonic wave including prostate. A profile setting unit 52 sets a profile setting parts which simulates a shape of the prostate in the tomographic image. A mask setting unit 54 sets a masking parts in the tomographic image. The mask setting unit 54 sets, as a masking parts, a transition area parts which, for example, simulates a shape of the transition area in the prostate.
