PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical wall surface greening system that allows very easy maintenance.SOLUTION: A planter 2 held almost sealed by covering at least its portion where roots exist with a heat insulating material and covering its opening with a roof-like member is installed on the rooftop of a building with its end facing the wall surface side, and a drooping plant 1 is planted. The plant 1 is made to extend its culm and leaves from spaces 8 in the roof-like member so that its root portion is isolated from the influences of external temperature changes and sunlight, while enough sunlight can be secured for the culm and leaves. Also, the planter 2 is sealed to prevent drying and intrusion of uncontrollable water such as rainwater and weed seeds to bring it close to a maintenance-free state.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 メンテナンスが極めて容易で、実用的な壁面緑化システムを提供する。【解決手段】 少なくとも根が存在する部分を断熱材で覆い、開口部を屋根状部材で覆うことによりほぼ密閉された状態のプランター2を、建築物屋上の壁面側に端に設置し、下垂性の植物1を植栽する。植物1は屋根状部材の空隙8から茎葉部を伸ばすようにすることで根の部分を外部の温度変化の影響や日照から隔離し、茎葉部には十分な日照を確保できる。またプランター2を密閉することにより、乾燥、降雨などの管理不可能な水や雑草の種の侵入を防ぐことができ、メンテナンスフリーの状態に近づけることができる。【選択図】図1
