The invention relates to a machine for cutting and collecting plants on sidewalks, roadways and other floors in a single pass. It consists of a frame (1), having in its upper part shafts (2) on which swinging uprights (3) supporting the receptacle (4) in their lower part. On this receptacle (4) is fixed to the front blade (5) cutting. On one of the uprights (3) oscillating is fixed a roller (6) in permanent contact, except in case of obstacle, with an eccentric (8) fixed on a shaft (7) in rotation. On this shaft (7) are mounted blades (9) more or less rigid with vertical rotation rotating in the direction of the arrow (B). These blades (9) allow the vertical maintenance of the plants in front of the blade (5) cutting, and the evacuation of cut plants in a receiving tray. Elle est constituée d'un bâti (1), comportant en sa partie supérieure des axes (2) sur lesquels pivotent des montants (3) oscillants supportants en leur partie inférieure le réceptacle (4). Sur ce réceptacle (4) est fixée à l'avant la lame (5) coupante. Sur un des montants (3) oscillants est fixé un galet (6) en contact permanent, sauf en cas d'obstacle, avec un excentrique (8) fixé sur un arbre (7) en rotation. Sur cet arbre (7) sont montées des lames (9) plus ou moins rigides à rotation verticale tournant dans le sens de la flèche (B). Ces lames (9) permettent le maintien en position verticale des végétaux devant la la lame (5) coupante, ainsi que l'évacuation des végétaux coupés dans un bac de réception. La machine selon l'invention est particulièrement destinée à la coupe et au ramassage des végétaux sur les trottoirs et les chaussées, et autres produits sur le sol.
