PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system capable of correcting change of a hue associated with a wavelength shift of a semiconductor light source.SOLUTION: A light source control part 21 controls a plurality of LED light sources in such a way that, in a normal observation mode, the light source control part 21 performs light source control for a normal observation mode to cause the light sources to emit light for the normal observation mode and that, in a special observation mode, the light source control part 21 performs light source control for the special observation mode to causes the light sources to emit light for the special observation mode. At least any one LED light source of the plurality of LED light sources generates light in which a peak wavelength more shifts as light emission intensity becomes higher.
