[Problem] To provide a catheter that enables a core wire and a proximal shaft made of materials that are difficult to direct weld to be easily secured with ample strength. [Solution] A spot irradiation part where an energy beam is irradiated from the outer circumferential surface of a proximal shaft 22 in a spot shape is provided at an insertion portion where the proximal end side of a core wire 28 is inserted into the front end side of the proximal shaft 22. The proximal shaft 22 projects toward the inner circumferential side in the spot irradiation part and enters into the outer circumferential surface of the core wire 28, whereby securing sections 36 are formed.[Problème] Fournir un cathéter qui permette à un fil d'âme et un axe proximal faits de matériaux qui sont difficiles à souder directement d'être facilement attachés avec suffisamment de résistance. [Solution] Une zone d'irradiation ponctuelle où un faisceau d'énergie est irradié depuis la surface circonférentielle extérieure d'un axe proximale 22, sous la forme d'un point, est prévue au niveau d'une partie d'insertion dans laquelle le côté d'extrémité proximale d'un fil d'âme 28 est inséré dans le côté d'extrémité avant de l'axe proximal 22.
