Disclosed is a process of producing an adjuvanted influenza vaccine composition, said process comprising mixing at the time of delivery substantially equal volumes of (i) a submicron oil-in-water emulsion adjuvant comprising a squalene and (ii) an aqueous preparation comprising at least one influenza virus antigen from at least one influenza virus strain, wherein the influenza virus antigens are not from influenza virus strains that have been prepared by reverse genetic techniques, and wherein said antigens comprise said at least one influenza virus antigen comprising an amount of haemagglutinin sufficient to provide a concentration of less than 30 ìg hemagglutinin per influenza virus strain per ml in the vaccine composition.
