PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair for a hemiplegic person which allows a person on the wheelchair to easily travel the wheelchair with a healthy foot and to easily operate a brake.SOLUTION: The wheelchair 100 for the hemiplegic person includes: freely turnable casters 18 a freely attachable/detachable foot rest 26 freely turnable arm rests 19 arranged in the right and left of a seat and a small wheel and a large wheel 21 which are respectively arranged on one side and the other side of the wheelchair, the small wheel being lower than the seat and the large wheel 21 being higher than the seat. The small wheel and the large wheel 21 are exchangeable between the right and left sides. The height of the seat is the same in the front and rear parts of the wheelchair.
