The invention pertains to the field of molecular means capable of binding calcium, in particular peptides which are calcium chelators, appropriate for use in vitro or in vivo and preferably capable of targeting specific cellular compartments. Polypeptide comprising a first calcium-binding domain, a peptide linker and a second calcium binding domain, wherein said first and second binding domains are linked through said peptide linker, and wherein: the first calcium-binding domain and the second calcium binding domain each comprise at least one calcium-binding site derived from a EF-hand motif； and, the first calcium-binding domain and the second calcium binding domain differ in at least one calcium-binding site.L'invention se rapporte au domaine des moyens moléculaires capables de lier le calcium, en particulier des peptides qui sont des chélateurs de calcium, appropriés pour une utilisation in vitro ou in vivo, et de préférence capables de cibler des compartiments cellulaires spécifiques. L'invention concerne un polypeptide comprenant un premier domaine de liaison au calcium, un lieur peptidique et un second domaine de liaison au calcium, lesdits premier et second domaines de liaison étant liés par l'intermédiaire dudit lieur peptidique, et : le premier domaine de liaison au calcium et le second domaine de liaison au calcium comprennent chacun au moins un site de liaison au calcium dérivé d'un motif main EF ； et le premier domaine de liaison au calcium et le second domaine de liaison au calcium diffèrent dans au moins un site de liaison au calcium.
