PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management system that can easily grasp a use state of a diaper not only in a close area but also in a remote area.SOLUTION: A management system for managing the use of a diaper, comprises: an IC tag attached to a diaper and storing identification information a relay attached to a wearer of the diaper and having the function of reading the identification information of the IC tag and information transmitting function and a management section having the function of receiving information transmitted from the relay and the function of transmitting it to an information terminal. The relay is provided with identification information. If the identification information of the IC tag is tried to be read and it cannot be read, the relay transmits information indicating that there is no IC tag, together with the identification information of the relay, to the management section.
