PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress tearing in a lateral direction which may occur when a ventral part and a back part are detached on a fusion part which is continuous in a linear shape.SOLUTION: An absorbent article has a ventral part, a back part, and a crotch part, the absorbent article is folded into two at the crotch part, and in a state in which the ventral part and the back part are overlapped, the ventral part and the back part are fused in parts corresponding to respective end parts in a lateral direction of the absorbent article, therefore an opening around a trunk and a pair of openings around a leg, are formed in different positions in a vertical direction crossing the lateral direction, in an underpants type absorbent article. When the respective end parts are divided into plural zones in the vertical direction, a lamination number of sheets forming the ventral part and the back part is different by one sheet, between a first zone and a second zone which is adjacent to the first zone in the vertical direction in the plural zones. The edge parts along the vertical direction, in the plural zones, fusion parts where the ventral part and the back part are fused, extend continuously to a linear-shape along the edge parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】線状に連続する融着部で腹側部と背側部とを引き剥がす際に起こり得る横裂きを抑制する。【解決手段】腹側部と、背側部と、股下部とを有した吸収性物品が、股下部にて二つ折りされて腹側部と背側部とが重ね合わせられた状態で、腹側部と背側部とが吸収性物品の横方向の各端部に相当する部分でそれぞれ融着されていることにより、横方向と交差する縦方向において互いに異なる位置に、胴回り開口部と一対の脚回り開口部とが形成されたパンツ型の吸収性物品である。各端部を、それぞれ縦方向に複数の部分に区分した場合に、腹側部及び背側部を形成するシートの積層枚数が、複数の部分のうちの第1部分と、第1部分の縦方向の隣に位置する第2部分とで、互いに一枚だけ相違している。複数の部分において縦方向に沿った縁部には、腹側部と背側部とが融着されてなる融着部が、縁部に沿った線状に連続して延在している。【選択図】 図5
