The invention is directed to an edible solid composition having laxative properties. The composition has a smooth mouth feel, in non-gritty and has a pleasant taste. It is prepared by melt-combining together the ingredients including a bulking agent and laxative as well as an optional flavor agent and electrolyte. The melt is a dispersion containing a substantially homogeneous combination of ingredients. The melt is cooled to form an amorphous solid dispersion or solution of the ingredients. The ingredients are mutually compatible so that upon cooling they do not separately crystallize to form a gritty mouth feel product.La présente invention concerne une composition solide comestible ayant des propriétés laxatives.
