PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator capable of increasing the amount of mist to be supplied to a desired area by a simple structure.SOLUTION: The mist generator MG includes a case 1 containing a rotor 2 and including a plurality of collision walls 12 for generating mist by colliding water scattered from the rotor 2 thereto. The plurality of collision walls 12 are formed in a rib shape so as to be radially arranged around the rotor 2 and extended in the normal direction of the rotor 2. A gap 11 each between the plurality of collision walls 12 is formed so as to allow the inside and outside of the case 1 to communicate with each other. The opening portion of the gap 11 which is close to the outer circumference of the case 1, acts as a mist outlet 13.
