The present invention relates to an apparatus for detecting a bio signal of a driver which is capable of detecting a bio signal with high accuracy by measuring a bio signal of the driver and a noise using a plurality of electrodes mounted on a steering wheel of a vehicle and detecting a final bio signal by applying an empirical mode decomposition to a result obtained from filtering the bio signal of the driver with the noise. To this end, an apparatus for detecting a bio signal of a driver according to the present invention includes: a bio signal measuring unit mounted on a steering wheel of a vehicle and measuring a radiocardiogram of a driver； a noise measuring unit for measuring a movement noise； an adaptive filter for filtering the bio signal measured by the bio signal measuring unit on the basis of the movement noise measured by the noise measuring unit； a signal decomposition unit for decomposing a signal passing through the adaptive filter for each frequency； and a bio signal detecting unit for combining at least two signals from among signals decomposed by the signal decomposition unit to detect as a bio signal.본 발명은 운전자의 생체신호 검출 장치에 관한 것으로, 차량의 스티어링 휠에 장착된 복수의 전극을 이용하여 운전자의 생체신호와 노이즈를 각각 측정하고, 상기 운전자의 생체신호를 상기 노이즈로 필터링 한 결과에 경험적 모드 분해법(Empirical Mode Decomposition)을 적용하여 최종 생체신호를 검출함으로써, 정확도 높은 생체신호를 검출할 수 있는 운전자의 생체신호 검출 장치를 제공하고자 한다.이를 위하여, 본 발명은 운전자의 생체신호를 검출 장치에 있어서, 차량의 스티어링 휠에 장착되어 운전자의 심전도를 측정하는 생체신호 측정부； 상기 차량의 스티어링 휠에 장착되어 동잡음을 측정하는 노이즈 측정부； 상기 노이즈 측정부에 의해 측정된 동잡음을 기반으로 상기 생체신호 측정부에 의해 측정된 생체신호를 필터링하는 적응 필터； 상기 적응 필터를 통과한 신호를 주파수별로 분해하는 신호 분해부； 및 상기 신호 분해부에 의해 분해된 신호들 중에서 적어도 두 개 이상의 신호를 결합하여 생체신호로서 검출하는 생체신호 검출부를 포함한다.
