PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and devices for targeted administration of a drug to a patients eye.SOLUTION: The method includes: inserting a hollow microneedle 130 into the sclera 20 of an eye at an insertion site and infusing a fluid drug formulation into the suprachoroidal space of the eye through the inserted microneedle 130, where the drug formulation 131 is temporarily positioned in the hollow bore of the microneedle 130. The infused fluid drug formulation flows within the suprachoroidal space away from the insertion site during the infusion.
