PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assisting unit for wearing medical elastic socks, the unit being both convenient and comfortable and having the function of preventing the socks from extending in full length so that the durability of the socks may not be damaged.SOLUTION: A wearing assisting unit includes: a widening/narrowing device consisting of a pair of right and left holders that are inserted into the elastic socks to hold and can move at the same time according to the users foot width and an heel hook to widen the heel part downward. The unit has a function to facilitate the insert of a foot and wearing by widening a space in the sock in three directions of left, right, and down directions.
