PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translucent material which can be used as a low adhesion material and a molding member.SOLUTION: There is provided a translucent material which comprises a base part 1 composed of a glass-based material and a ceramic layer 2 provided on the upper (surface) of the base part 1 in a layered state. As the base part 1, there can be used soda-lime glass, strengthened glass using aluminosilicate glass, mainly heat-resistant glass using borosilicate glass, quartz glass or the like. The ceramic layer 2 contains nitrogen and a cation of a 4A group element using yttrium oxide (YO) as a base material. When quartz glass is used, an intermediate layer 3 is preferably formed between the base part 1 and the ceramic layer 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】低密着性材料及び成形用部材として使用され得る透光性材料を提供する。【解決手段】透光性材料は、ガラス系材料からなる基台部１と、基台部１の上方（表面）において層状に設けられるセラミックス層２とを備える。基台部１として、ソーダライムガラス、アルミノシリケートガラスを使用した強化ガラス、主にホウケイ酸ガラスを使用した耐熱ガラス、石英ガラスなどを使用できる。セラミックス層２は、酸化イットリウム（Ｙ２ Ｏ３ ）を基材にして、窒素及び４Ａ族元素のカチオンを含む。石英ガラスを使用する場合には、基台部１とセラミックス層２との間に中間層３を形成することが好ましい。【選択図】図１
