Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein thermoplastisches Polyurethan, dass durch Umsetzung wenigstens folgender Komponenten erhältlich ist: ein Polyisocyanat mit zwei Isocyanat-Gruppen, ein Polycarbonat mit zwei Isocyanat-reaktiven Gruppen, ein Kettenverlänger mit zwei Isocyanat-reaktiven Gruppen, ein Polyoxyalkylenether mit einer Isocyanat-reaktiven Gruppe, wobei das Verhältnis der Isocyanat-Gruppen des Polyisocyanates a) zu der Summe der Isocyanat-reaktiven Gruppen des Polycarbonatdiols b), des Kettenverlängerers c) und des Polyoxyalkylenethers d) im Bereich 0,95 bis 1,05 : 1 liegt.
