In the present invention, provided is a composition for preventing and treating diabetes and high blood pressure including a fermented solution of a mixed strain solution of lactobacillus plantarum DSR CK10 whose accession number is KFCC-11433P and lactobacillus plantarum DSR M2 whose accession number is KFCC-11432P as an active ingredient wherein the composition has an activity of inhibiting alpha glucosidase, thereby preventing and/or treating diabetes, and has a gamma amino butyl acid (GABA) to decrease blood pressure and to improve diuresis, thereby preventing and/or treating high blood pressure.본 발명은 락토바실러스 플란타륨 DSR CK10 (KFCC-11433P) 및 락토바실러스 플란타륨DSR M2 (KFCC-11432P) 혼합 균주의 발효액을 유효성분으로 하는 당뇨 및 고혈압 예방 및 치료용 조성물을 제공한다.본 발명의 조성물은 알파글루코시다아제 저해 활성을 가지고 있어 당뇨병의 예방 및/또는 치료 효과를 나타낼 뿐만 아니라, 혈압 저하 및 이뇨 작용 등과 같은 생리활성 기능을 갖는 감마-아미노부틸산(GABA)을 함유하고 있어 고혈압의 예방 및/또는 치료 효과를 나타낼 수 있다.
