PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having superior air permeability and yet preventing liquid leakage.
SOLUTION: This absorbent article is provided with an absorptive member for absorbing liquid and a liquid permeable surface member covering the surface side of the absorptive member, wherein the surface member is formed by joining a surface sheet disposed in the outer side with an intermediate sheet interposed between the surface sheet and the absorptive member with a plurality of dotted joint parts, and the density of the joint parts provided in a prescribed area in a central side of the surface member is lower than the density of the joint parts provided in an area outside the prescribed area.
