PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual package of a sanitary article, which is opened without generating sound of peeling a fixing tape and a fixing part when opening the individual package of a sanitary napkin, keeps the quality of the sanitary article, and makes it difficult to have the sanitary article recognized as such at a glance.SOLUTION: The individual package of the sanitary article includes a vertically long sanitary article 10 provided with at least a liquid-permeable front surface material on a skin abutting surface side and a liquid-impermeable back surface material on a skin non-abutting surface side and a package material 20 for individually packaging it, and is formed by freely detachably sticking an adhesive layer for underwear fixation disposed on the skin non-abutting surface side of the sanitary article 10 and a release-treated inner surface of the package material 20 (release paper 24).
