PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flying insect pest attractive controlling agent exhibiting excellent attracting and controlling effects on various flying insect pests, an apparatus for attracting and controlling flying insect pests and a method for attracting and controlling flying insect pests, using the apparatus for attracting and controlling flying insect pests.SOLUTION: The flying insect pest attractive controlling agent that contains balsamic vinegar or a balsamic vinegar-containing attractant and an insecticide is used. The apparatus 100 for attracting and controlling flying insect pests is equipped with a housing 10 for catching flying insect pests X. The apparatus 100 for attracting and controlling flying insect pests is equipped with an attraction part 3 that emits balsamic vinegar or a balsamic vinegar-containing attractant to attract flying insect pests X in the inside of the housing 10 and an insecticidal part 4 for bringing the attracted flying insect pests X into contact with an insecticide or making the flying insect pests ingest an insecticide so as to kill the flying insect pests.
