An emulsion is provided including: an oil component and a water component, theoil component including: fish oiltriglycerides in an amount of about 60% to about 90% based on the weight ofthe oil component; wherein the fish oil triglyceridesinclude omega-3 fatty acids, expressed as triglycerides, in an amount of atleast 60%, based on the total weight of the fatty acids ofthe fish oil triglycerides; wherein the fish oil triglycerides include a totalamount of EPA and DHA, expressed as triglycerides, ofat least 45%, based on the total weight of the fatty acids of the fish oiltriglycerides; and, at least one medium-chain triglyceride,wherein a total amount of the at least one medium-chain triglyceride is fromabout 10% to about 40% based on the weight of theoil component.
