PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants-type absorbent article allowing a side sealed part to be easily torn in the longitudinal direction without unevenness in breaking positions in the lateral direction when the side sealed part is torn.SOLUTION: An underpants-type disposable diaper 1 has an abdominal side part A and a back side part B, and has a pair of side sealed parts S formed by joining side edges of the abdominal side part A and side edges of the back side part B in an A-frame shape. Each side sealed part S has a plurality of seal patterns 5 intermittently formed in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1. Each seal pattern 5 is inclined downward toward outside of the diaper in the lateral direction of the diaper 1.
