PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants-type disposable diaper, having high strength in a front abdominal part or a back part of the underpants type disposable diaper, allowing a wearer or the like to easily determine a part suitable for holding when wearing, thereby preventing breakage of the diaper when wearing.SOLUTION: This disposable diaper 1 includes: an outer facing material 2 an interior material and a reinforcing part 6. The outer facing material 2 has the front abdominal part, the back part 22 and a crotch part 23, wherein both side edges in the lateral direction of the front abdominal part and both side edges in the lateral direction of the back part are bonded to each other. The interior material is provided with an absorbing core for absorbing moisture, and applied on the skin surface side of the outer facing material. The reinforcing part 6 is provided on at least one of the front abdominal part and the back part 22 of the outer facing material 2, given strength higher than those of the other regions in the front abdominal part and the back part 22, and visually confirmed in a color different from those of the other regions.
