PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that when stem parts of leaf vegetables (spinach) cultivated on a row are cut and only the leaf parts are harvested, each leaf part becomes unstable and is not excellently collected at a point of time of cutting the stem parts, especially leaves of leaf vegetables suspended on right and left sides of row are not collected.SOLUTION: The leaf vegetable harvester is equipped with a cutting blade 31 for cutting stem parts Yb of leaf vegetables Y cultivated in a row A at the front end position of a machine frame 2 mounted on a traveling apparatus 1, a conveyor belt 41 for placing and conveying each leaf part Ya cut by the cutting blade 31 on the machine frame 2, a placing apparatus 5 that is arranged on the front end part 41a of the conveyor belt and places each leaf part Ya immediately after cutting by the cutting blade 31 on the front end part of the conveyor belt, and raking apparatuses 6 and 6 for raking suspended leaves Yc of leaf vegetables suspended on row sides Ab at a row upper surface Aa side in the vicinity of each of right and left end parts of the machine frame 2 and so that efficiently collects leaf parts cut from the step parts and excellently collects the suspended leaves.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】畝上に栽培している葉菜(ホウレン草)の茎部を刈刃で切断してその葉部のみを収穫する場合に、茎部を切断した時点で各葉部が不安定になって各葉部をうまく収集できないとともに、特に畝の左右側面に垂れ下がっている葉菜の垂れ葉は収集できない。【解決手段】走行装置1上に設置した機体フレーム2の前端位置に畝Aに栽培している葉菜Yの茎部Ybを切断する刈刃31を設け、機体フレーム2に刈刃31で切断した各葉部Yaを乗せて搬送するコンベアベルト41を設け、コンベアベルト前端部41aに刈刃31で切断した直後の各葉部Yaをコンベアベルト前端部上に載せる載せ上げ装置5を設けているとともに、機体フレーム2の左右各端部付近に、畝側面Abに垂れている葉菜の垂れ葉Ycを畝上面Aa側に掻き寄せるための掻き寄せ装置6,6を設けていることにより、茎部を切断した葉部を効率よく収集できるとともに上記垂れ葉もうまく収集できる。【選択図】 図3
