The present invention relates to a sustained-release polymer microsphere containing anastrozole, and more specifically, to a method for preparing a sustained-release polymer microsphere containing anastrozole, a polymer microsphere prepared thereby, and a pharmaceutical composition comprising same, wherein in the method for preparing the sustained-release polymer microsphere containing anastrozole includes a method for preparing polymer particulates by dissolving a polymer compound and anastrozole in a solvent, coagulating same into particulates, and then processing the coagulated polymer particulates with an alcohol aqueous solution, so that the ratio of a maximum serum concentration (Cmax) with respect to an average serum concentration of anastrozole (Cave) during release is between 1 to 20.
