The sensor device 2 comprises a hollow enclosure (6) having a circumferential opening (8), wherein the hollow enclosure (6) and the circumferential opening (8) are adapted such that when the circumferential opening (8) is placed in contact with a human body (3) an air pressure less than a surrounding air pressure is maintainable inside the hollow enclosure (6) thereby generating a suction effect to attach the sensor device (2) onto the human body (3), means (7,20) for creating an air pressure difference between the hollow enclosure (6) and the surroundings and a microphone (13) for detecting sound from the human body (3).
