PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn mower having a low-noise drive mode and capable of changing setting positions of a rotary blade and a fixed blade.SOLUTION: The lawn mower 1 includes a motor 12, a chassis 2, a fixed shaft 18 attached to the chassis 2, the rotary blade 22 rotatably supported to the fixed shaft 18, a rotation transmitting means (16) for transmitting the rotation of the motor 12 to the rotary blade, and the fixed blade 24 layered coaxially with the rotary blade 22. The setting distance between the rotary blade 22 and the fixed blade 24 is adjustable. The rotary blade 22 and the fixed blade 24 are disposed approximately parallel to the ground, and the rotary blade 22 is disposed on the upper side of the fixed blade 24.
