A patient isolator includes a base and a cover which is arranged to seal with the base. The cover is formed from a rigid material and has two access ports on an end face. The two access ports are angled in a width direction relative to a plane which extends parallel to the width direction of the patient isolator. The two access ports are angled relative to each other.
