Disclosed herein is an oil-in-water composition comprising dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline and a pH adjusting agent in an aqueous phase. In one aspect, the composition of the present invention uses a dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline, which is a derivative of a natural substance, and a pH adjusting agent, so that the oil-in-water composition exhibits emulsion stability without the addition of additional separate emulsifiers, so it is less irritating to the skin and may cause allergies.
